MEET the POTTER

Hey there — I’m the hands (and heart) behind One Black Potter. Every piece I make is one of a kind, handmade in Central Texas with a little grit, a lot of love, and a touch of mischief.

I specialize in quirky, functional ceramic art — including my best-selling Pocket Pipes (aka Puff Pieces) — made to be used, admired, and maybe even spark a conversation or two.

One Black Potter was born out of a love for storytelling through clay. I believe in making art that’s as useful as it is unforgettable — whether it's a pipe, a plate, or something that makes you laugh out loud.

Each piece is hand-built or wheel-thrown, glazed in small batches, and fired hot enough to survive the apocalypse (or at least a bumpy USPS ride). I don’t believe in perfect — I believe in personality. That’s what makes handmade so powerful.
